HRD/Home Department Attestation Services for Documents Issued from India.


What is Document/s attestation or legalization? Why it is needed by every Indian who willing to go Abroad?
                                                                                                  
Document Verification or attestation or legalization or authentication is a process that proves the genuineness of educational, personal & commercial documents from the respective government authorities.

This process needs to be followed by every individual while travelling outside the country for the purpose of Job, Spouse Migration, Marriage Purpose, Permanent Migration, Higher Studies, Import, Export and business set up opportunities available are immense but one needs to produce an Indian document be it Personal or Educational or Commercial outside of India, the host country needs to recognize it as a genuine document.

Being a time taking process, it needs to be handled by the person/agency having expertise in the field of documents verification or attestation or legalization or authentication.  We are one of the major players in verification or attestation or legalization or authentication from the State Level, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi and Embassies or High Commissions or Consulates.

In India, this work has now been decentralized and entrusted to the home ministry of the respective state. Verification or attestation or legalization or authentication procedure is followed to recognize it as a genuine document/s. MEA Verification or attestation or legalization or authentication is followed by the non-member nations of Hague Convention. Attestation from MEA can be done after verification or attestation or legalization or authentication is done from relevant state authorities.

For Example

In case of Educational Documents, document has to be first verified or attested or legalized or authenticated from concerned state education department (HRD). After that MEA (MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS) will attest the original certificate, than only any Embassy in India will attest or legalize the certificate.

In case of personal documents, document needs to be first verified or attested or legalized or authenticated from concerned home department (HD). After that MEA (MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS) will attest the original certificate, than only any Embassy in India will attest or legalize the certificate.

In case of Commercial documents, document needs to be first verified or attested or legalized or authenticated from concerned Chamber of Commerce (COC). After that MEA (MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS) will attest the original certificate, than only any Embassy in India will attest or legalize the certificate.

Documents Attestation or Legalization from HRD/Home Department can be done by courier/registered post from India and Abroad.

Applicants are solely responsible for the documents they submit. Any false documentation or misrepresentation of facts & information in support of their applications will have a direct bearing on the decision with regards to their application by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
